Reviewing the Chiles High School website, the most common information I discovered on each page was a mission statement/introduction section. On each website, teachers focused on including their prior education and experience seemingly as a means of introducing themselves and personalizing the website. Some teachers also included their contact information and support services that could be helpful for both their students and others, as they were publicly available. Through the inclusion of these tools, informative videos, or other resources, any child or parent could be prompted to better succeed at the school.

In the future, I plan to use technology in my classroom as a means of both in-school and at-home support for my students' learning. Because I will most likely be working with younger students, I would like to create a strong website and/or online learning resource that allows parents to stay updated regarding classroom events. Though using something such as Canvas may be too mature for younger students, it may be helpful to create a Google Classroom or ClassDojo. By using these tools, parents and students can review important learning resources, view important dates and upcoming events, and learn more about classroom proceedings.
In completing Assignment 2, I found it incredibly interesting that AI was able to effectively create a lesson plan through which students could be introduced to, engage with, and review and reflect upon material in a timely manner. Although AI effectively supports an efficient class structure, human teachers still excel in applying creativity and interest to lessons, as personal experience is heavily relied upon to implement new literature and teaching strategies into the classroom. Through the making of this lesson plan, I learned that although structure and basic information made a "good" lesson plan, those elements are not helpful in making a lesson plan intriguing or interesting to students. The lesson plans could have benefitted from more creative literature implementations or more creative and enjoyable activities. Ultimately, this made me reevaluate the importance of creativity in completing my own lesson plans, as the lack of creativity and thoughtful, challenging material within the AI lesson plans were their most obvious issues. The use of the Canvas group tool was incredibly interesting as it allowed for collaboration and a further, more meaningful understanding of Canvas itself. I enjoyed having access to the creation of assignments and felt as though I was definitely challenged creatively and academically as trying to make sense of Canvas formatting tools and the site's software was at sometimes confusing or frustrating. I also think that possibly using Google Classroom for a similar assignment may be helpful as most schools choose to use Google Classroom and it would be helpful to understand that software in a similar manner.
